Stain Removal

There are many reasons that superficial white, brown, gray, or orange spots may appear on the surface of your teeth: heredity, cigarettes, coffee, tea, red wine or other foods and beverages. If you took the drug tetracycline as a child, or your mother took it during pregnancy, you may have stains that range from yellow to orange to brown to blue-gray. (Tetracycline ingested between the ages of four months prior to birth to nine months after birth can often affect primary teeth; if taken during the first nine years of life, tetracycline can affect permanent teeth with superficial spotting.)

Fortunately, stains can often be completely removed from teeth using a variety of methods. Better Image Dentistry offers a range of stain removal treatments for patients at our office in Bridgewater (Somerset County), NJ. Please contact us for more information.
