Intravenous Sedation

We offer this form of sedation for our most anxious patients. Under intravenous sedation, you will experience a state of pain-free relaxation during your visit. You will be totally unaware of any of your dental treatment and will have no memory of any of your dental treatment.

What Is Intravenous Sedation?

This form of sedation is administered by a board-certified anesthesiologist right in our office. He is a physician who specializes in caring for patients in dental offices. He remains present during the entire procedure, monitoring each patient to ensure that he or she is safely sedated and totally unaware of the dental procedures being performed.

What Should I Expect if I Have Intravenous Sedation?

You should expect to be totally unaware of any procedures being done and to have no memory of them. If you choose this form of sedation, you will need to have someone drive you to and from your dental visit.
